The Crossing Classroom is not a curriculum or a replacement for an existing history, civics, ELA, or theatre program. It is a flexible, multidisciplinary educational and performance resource paired with the Theatrical Concert Version script designed to complement classroom learning—and, at this level, provide the materials for a powerful concert presentation of The Crossing.
Through original music, historical context, character-driven scenes, primary-source connections, discussion, writing, and performance, participants explore the people, choices, and ideas that shaped a pivotal moment in the American Revolution. The Crossing Classroom provides multiple ways to incorporate The Crossing into existing coursework, as well as staging a performance for the school and community.

The Concert Version
The High School & Beyond package includes the materials to present a 9-song theatrical concert version of The Crossing.
Designed for flexibility and relatively simple staging, the concert can be presented in a theatre, auditorium, school, college, or community setting without the production requirements of a fully staged musical.
It provides an opportunity for performers and audiences to experience the story through original songs, characters, and dramatic scenes while engaging with the history and ideas behind the musical.

High School & Beyond License
For just $797, the license provides access to the High School & Beyond Crossing Classroom digital resources in accordance with the terms of the Licensing Agreement.
All materials are delivered digitally by download only. Written materials are provided as PDF files and audio materials as MP3 files. No printed or physical materials are included. Teachers may print the PDF resources as permitted under the license for use within the licensed school district.
Once your order and Licensing Agreement are received, Crossing Theatrics, LLC will countersign the agreement and email you a completed copy along with the link to download your licensed PDF and MP3 materials.
